Mr. Bean!

What do you think about Mr.Bean?
In my opinion he is one of the best actors have ever existed. I want to write about this video, it’s amazing. I found it yesterday, as you know when you start watching videos in Youtube, you can’t stop! So… that happened to me! I started watching motorbike movies, and I finished watching humour ones.
I think that it is one of the best gags that Mr. Bean had performed. If you can’t appreciate how difficult is playing the “imagination drums”, try it!
I have just tried it and I have noticed that it is nearly impossible, so I congratulate Rowan Atkinson because I think he has worked really hard during all his career and that’s the reason why he is so famous!

ACDC!!

Hi classmates!!

Today I decide to write about ACDC because they are one of the most famous hard rock bands ever known. If we translate acdc in Catalan it means “corrent continua “and “corrent alterna”. This is the name of the group because it was founded by Angust Young and his brother, Malcom Young and they have one sister called Margaret. It’s said that Margaret used to sew with an electric machine, and it has two symbols: AC, DC. But there are lots of different opinions about what’s the meaning of this name.

They have really good songs, most of them are fantastic. My favourite are “Thunderstruck” and “Whole lotta Rosie”, because in these songs we can appreciate the quality of the two guitarists Malcom and August. August Young has been the best guitarist in the world, and as you can see in this video he always wears a school uniform because when he was a child he had been expelled from his school and the headmaster told him that he would never be someone important and that’s the reason why he wears this peculiar dress.

Amazing story!

Hi classmates!!

Since five or six months ago, we have lots of problems because my father has a farm and we have got lambs. As you know in our country there are lot of immigrants and lots of them don’t have work , so… they haven’t got any money and they have to steal to survive.
We started to notice that the lambs were disappearing five months ago, and we decided to design an alarm. We started to think about how could we do it, my brother proposed one design and I started to make it, but meanwhile I was working on it, I decided to put an engine, and I made little modifications. It is a quite simple mechanism, but it works really well. It is formed by two lasers, one engine, a mobile phone and the most important part, a metal structure. As I said before it is really simple because, when the thief arrives, this mechanism and the mobile phone call at our home’s telephone.
The first time it called us was four months ago; when we noticed that the number that was calling was the alarm we went there quickly. When we arrived there, we saw two lambs walking outside of the farm. So, the alarm worked well, but we learned that if we want to catch the thieves we had to be fastest. Some days after it rang two times more and we couldn’t know who was stealing our lambs, because when we arrived we could only see the animals, not the thieves. Finally, last Monday, we could catch one of the people who were stealing our lambs. It was amazing, because after working really hard, we could detain one of the Arabian thieves.
Well… as you can imagine it is really difficult to explain this entire story in English, so I let you the link to the “Punt” newspaper, where you will find the whole story explained really well and in Catalan of course!.

Humour!

Hi classmates!!

What do you think about humour? Today I got up in a bad mood, because it’s Sunday, tomorrow will be Monday, and I had to work a lot. When I came to the computer I started watching funny pictures and funny videos, I started to laugh and in a few minutes I noticed that my bad mood disappeared and , now, I am really happy.
So… answering the question of the exam “Is humour necessary to survive?” I must answer: Yes, it is necessary, REALLY NECESSARY!!

Elections!

Hi classmates!

It seems that the World today is better than it was yesterday. One of the most racist countries of the world had chosen a black President, Barack Obama and he is the most popular man in the United States. I think most of the people think that these are normal elections, but in my opinion they are really important because, for bad luck, the United States is the most powerful country in the world and that’s the reason why its President is so important.

On the other hand, I am wondering, will our society choose a black, a brown or a yellow President? I’m sure not, because we have lots of prejudices about different races.
In the United States, the non-racist and the liberalist have joined and they have defeated the racism, which is still kicking in lots of different countries around the world.
I love talking about this topic because I think it’s amazing that a racist country like America has chosen a black president!

How many people do you think wants to kill him? – I think that lots of people, I hope he has lots of bodyguards!!

Motorbikeee!!

Hi classmates!!

How are you? It’s Sunday afternoon but I’m happy because I have really enjoyed this weekend!
On Friday, we went to “Barraques” and I slept in a friend’s home. On Saturday morning we took the train and we came back home. I was really sleepy and I decided to went for a ride on my motorcycle. I dressed up and I went to a field, where we have got a motocross track. When I arrived there I saw that it was destroyed ; I called my brother and we started repairing it.

An hour later, there were some jumps and the track was really better. So I took my motorbike and I started training.
At half past seven I went home and I was really tired!! So I didn’t go out on Saturday night.
Today, I woke up really early because I had to cut the grass, and study. Then I had lunch and I went training with the motorcycle.
So... as you can imagine I’m exhausted !!

Monday...

Hello friends!

Today has been a bad day, because I think there isn't any good Monday! After the weekend I feel very tired and I hate going to school, but I must go there!
This weekend has been really funny. On Friday I rode my motorcycle with some friends we went to “Puig seglar”, a really nice mountain!
On Saturday my friends and I went to have dinner in Jesus' restaurant, and the dinner was really funny because the cooker of this restaurant is a bit crazy and we spent a really good time talking with him.
Afterwards, we went to Sils, where there was a concert of the famous band “BOIKOT”. So Saturday night has been perfect!
And finally, on Sunday I had to do my homework and I really hate it because is very, very boring!
So I think that you can understand because I hate Monday, after a good weekend the first day of the week is hard, really hard!

Second of Batxillerat!

Hi classmates!!


How are you? I'm not really fine because today it's Sunday and I'm really sleepy.

As you can see I'm going to use the blog of first of batxillerat.

Well... this is our last year studing in Castello and that makes me happy because I want to change. During these years I have been getting up at the same time, taking the bus, see the same people every day, the same teachers... and as all of you know this is really boring.

I think that going to Girona or Barcelona will be a good challenge, because there we will meet new people and we will change our way of life because there will be nobody who cooks our dinner or washes our clothes.

I hope we will meet next year at the University!!

Funny afternoon!

Hi friends!

This is my last post and I don't want to write about the exams, so I am going to explain you, what I have been doing this afternoon. I had lunch, and then I have prepared my motorcycle, when I have finished I've called one friend and we have met. We have decided to spend the hole afternoon riding our motorbikes. We have gone to Sant Mori, Ventallo, Valveralla, Albons...

I reallyhave enjoyed this trip because we have discovered lots of beautiful places, such as a mountain called "Puig Seglar"; when we were on the top of it, we could see all Alt Empordà. We have tried to recognise where our house is, but as you can imagine it's really difficult and we only have seen our village, Vilamacolum.

Hi guys !!

Now I am in the english room and I'm very happy because I have passed my philosophy exam.
I'm waiting for the english, maths and economy marks.

But today is Friday and now I am going to go home because the maths teacher doesn't come! This weekend will be hard, we have to finish our blogs and portfolios and I have to study a lot!!
But on the other side I will go out on Saturday afternoon with all of my friends to celebrate that they have just finished their course. And at night we are going to go to Fata (like most of the weekends) !!!

Two exams... :-))

Hi classmates !!!

Today I am more relaxed… During this week I have been really stressed, we have done one exam each day and I am really tired.

But we have two exams more, and then we will finish the first of Batxillerat!! During the next week I am sure that I will go to the beach every day because on 16 I start working… And I am going to start with my “Treball de recerca” because all the students of second of Batxillerat recommend us to work on it during the summer because if we start it on September we would work hard on it and we won’t have time to study for the exams. So, I don’t know what I am going to do, but now I think that I have to do the most difficult parts of this work during the summer!

Tomorrow I have an economy exam, and it’s really hard because this unit consists on calculate lots of different things about companies. And now I’m going to study!!!

Music!

Hi classmates!!

Are you listening to music?
Now I’m listening a really good rap song, and I have just decided to write about music.

There is a large variety of music: pop, rock, rap, techno, ska ... I love all of them because in my opinion, if the singer has a good voice we will always like the kind of music that he plays.
Listening to a CD is a way to relax, but if you want to get excited listening to music you have to go to a concert because there, the sound quality is really good and if you start jumping and singing you will get crazy!! Ja ja

But the problem is that if you want to listen to a really good DJ or a good rock band, you have to go to Barcelona, because the best groups don’t come here to play.

Hi classmates!!

Today I'm going to write about internet because it is becoming more and more popular between young people. Nowadays almost everybody has got a computer at home.

There are no limits to the net and it is constantly offering more and more services.
Surfing the net you can chat with a friend in the other part of the world easily, cheaply and quickly ,you can send and receive e-mails, you can find information, download music or films, buy anything you want and you can even have your own home page...

In my opinion, internet is one of the best ways to inform ourselves, but we must be careful because there are some pages that hasn't got good information.

So if we know how to find it out, the net is one of the best tools; maybe it's better than the books, because we can find the information quickly.

And now I'm going to surf on the net!!
